Uh, was anyone going to tell me that I have blanket fuzz on my face? Maybe next time you have a booger or something stuck in your teeth and I won't say anything.

Helping out at work

Sometimes my mom decides that she wants to work from the couch instead of in the office. She drags her computer to the little table and lets me crawl around on the couch to help her. I help her read and send emails and do a bunch of other things. Here I am checking out her Inbox.

When I help out, I get lots of head scratchers. Oooh that feels good.

Say Cheese!

Being the cool cat that I am, I rarely get caught in a goofy photo. Today, however, was an exception. I was feeling extra fiesty and I was caught making funny faces at Miko.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

I am a firm believer that we should do what we can to protect the planet. We should reduce our consumption of natural resources and reuse what we can. I did my part this morning by reusing a regular household item. I used it as a toy and an alarm clock to wake up my mom.

The blue sponge is the perfect cat toy. It is soft to bite, lightweight, and is typically easy to find near a sink area. I found this one in the bathroom and tossed it around the entire house this morning to get my mom out of bed. I made sure to bat it around all of the noisiest places in the house. It was exhausting running around so much, so I took the sponge to my favorite spot on the rug and played with there.

Monday blahs

People are not the only ones affected by the Monday blahs. I have a hard time getting into the work week, too. This morning I started the week by sleeping a little bit later than normal. Miko and I did not start our morning playtime until about 6:30am. I love playing with her in the morning because we both like to torture our mom until she wakes up. Miko and I race across the house to see who can enter the bedroom first. Then, I stand by the door and meow as loud as I can to try to get my mom to stir under the covers. It usually works, but sometimes she yells at us.

I don't know why she has to be so grumpy in the morning.

Oh, how I love to eat!

Window open!

This morning we got a treat! The window in the office was open for a while, so I got to smell the fresh air. I like sitting in the windowsill and letting the fresh air scent get all over my fur. Sometimes it is scary when the air conditioning units outside turn on and make a loud growling sound. There are even loud car engines when people park close to my window.
